Thus effectively ends the eight-year Origin experiment, though its seems EA's launcher will still be sticking around. And I have to say I’m surprised. Intel’s 5GHz Core i9-9900KS Special Edition will set you back a cool $513 when it goes on sale in two days, the company said Monday. The 8-core Core i9-9900KS Special Edition is being pitched as the “world’s best for gaming,” and somewhat similar to the special edition status of the company’s Core i7-8086K.  The 14nm-based Core i9-9900KS features a base clock of 4GHz, which is about 400MHz higher than the current Core i9-9900K’s 3.6GHz. Eight years into the Chromebook’s existence, the category is still dominated by small, super-cheap laptops. Google has previously tried to inspire greater things with halo models—the super-premium Chromebook Pixel of 2013, and the stylish Pixelbook of 2017. Fallout 76  continues to blur the line between “Regular Ol’  Fallout  Game” and “MMO” in ways I find vaguely uncomfortable. Today it reached its apotheosis as Bethesda announced a new (and expensive) subscription option for people who want to play the game on private servers—or just with a minimum of hassle. Dubbed “Fallout 1st,” the subscription goes for $13 a month or $100 a year. And in theory that fee mostly covers your use of a private server, where you and up to seven friends can play a standalone instance of  Fallout 76  free of griefers and other ne’er-do-wells. Bethesda also plans to increase the amount of buildable space for private servers, and eventually add mod support as well. At long last, Microsoft’s Game Bar overlay for Windows finally shows how many frames per second (FPS) your game is running at, as well as the ability to track Xbox Achievements.
